About

The Mommy Dialogues are eight moms from around the United States coming together to write their trials, tribulations and joys in parenthood. With 20 kids between us we offer unique perspectives on child rearing with a focus on a natural home and doing the best by our kids even if that means putting our own priorities on the back burner.
We are a little crunchy and we even make our own granola. Yes; we cook, clean, craft and make babies. Our husbands are pretty lucky.

We are Jews, Atheists, Christians, Buddhists, Pastafarians and Fill In The Blanks. We are from red states and blues states.
We are passionate about being mothers and while not all of us get to stay at home with our kids, the love we share for being mommy is unrivaled. We have singletons, multiples and even a set of Irish twins. There are 10 girls and 10 boys between the ages of 8 and soon to be born.
Some of us cloth diaper, others use elimination communication. We make our own baby food or use baby led weaning. We baby wear. We have had c-sections, hospital births and home births and of course, power to the boobies.
My name is Geneva and I am the proud 23-year-old mother of Coyote Rain, born 11/3/11 at 41 weeks and 5 days gestation. I am currently a SAHM but will be returning to Boise State University full-time in the spring. I am a sophomore there with a major in Political Science, a minor in Philosophy and a dream of one day becoming a lawyer. I married Coyote's daddy, Ben on 11/11/11, the exact date we had been planning since we got engaged almost two and a half years ago. We are both enjoying our new roles as parents and spouses, though I must admit, hearing the word “wife” applied to me is still very odd. Click to read more
